Fender Link I/O

NAMM 2025: Fender has lifted the lid on the Link I/O, a new ultra-small “studio grade audio interface designed to fit in a pocket”.

Arriving in spring 2025, the Link I/O features an input stage designed to replicate the dynamic response of Fender’s range of guitar amplifiers, with “uncompromising” 24-bit/96kHz audio for a “high-fidelity tone from any passive or active instrument directly into a device”.

It also offers bi-directional audio via a USB connection, “serving as a one-stop solution” for connecting instruments and headphones to a phone, tablet, Mac or PC.

Elsewhere, the Link I/O sports an integrated LED input meter – through which to detect clipping – and a mix control to ensure a latency-free monitoring experience,

Humble in both size and price point, the Link I/O comes with a $79.99 tag.
